Look what we found!!

LOVE SPRING!!

This is a bunch of beautiful flowers that Emily and Jacob collected for me at the barn on Wednesday. They used a paper bag they found on the ground as a vase for them! So cute!!

Blossom from one of the trees in the woods behind our house.

Blooms from a bush in the back yard.

Emily's Birthday song for Katelyn!!

Double digits!!

On Monday Katelyn celebrated her 10TH Birthday!!! So hard to believe that she is that old already!! We still talk about her as a baby all the time! She is growing up to be a sweet, tough, loving, smart, independent girl! We couldn't ask for more!
We went out to dinner at Cook Out, and had some yummy milk shakes after. We came home and had cake and opened gifts. Since she had riding on her birthday, she got to go on a trail ride, which she just loves!!! She said she had a perfect day!!

Fun filled day at school!

Today was Emily's Easter party at preschool. They had yummy treats, made treat bags to collect eggs and went on a egg hunt! They had to find only the eggs that had there name on them, it was really cute watching all the kids read the names and help each other out finding the right ones!

EGGcellent!!!

The Kids and I colored some eggs tonight before dinner and we wanted to share how they turned out.
We did the traditional old dye and the colors were great! Emily was really scared to put her egg in the cups, because she was afraid it would break.
We also tried some tye dying and some sparkle eggs. It was so fun, everyone had a good time creating the perfect eggs!

two wheelin baby!!!

This weekend the kids decided that they wanted to finally start riding bikes. So they hopped and and poof, they where off and riding!! We started off riding in our neighborhood. It has some pretty big hills so we tried to pick a spot that was going to be easy. The "getting going" was the hard part if you had to go up the hill, but over all, they did great!!

By the evening, Jacob was jumping the curbs and was even more excited to learn that he could ride over the grass!! Katelyn was was doing perfect once she got going, her legs are juuuusssttt a bit short for her bike. Emily has been riding since Christmas when she got her new bike, but she is still on four wheels.

This morning the kids wanted to go to the park, so after breakfast (donuts) we headed to a local park and they rode all over that place!! A couple spots I had to help Emily up the hills, but Katelyn and Jacob did just amazing, they all did really!! It was such a fun time!! Cant wait to do it again!!

So we made our first trip to Georgia a few weeks back and although we didn't get to see much of the actual place we are looking for homes, we did get to see the incredible aquarium!! Jacob's face in the one picture kinda shows how we all felt the whole time!! It was amazing!! The whale sharks that are 23 feet long, wow!!! Did you know that even though the mouth of a whale shark can grow up to FOUR FEET wide, it can only eat things the size of a QUARTER!!!??
The whole downtown area that we saw was amazing, looks like we are going to have a ton of things to check out when we finally arrive!!
