We had the best weekend hanging out together!! Saturday Me and my mom took the kids to the zoo and I don't know why really, but it was the most relaxing time I have ever had at the zoo! It was VERY crowded in the parking lot, so much so that we had to park in a spot that wasn't really a spot but when we go inside there were times we felt as though we were the only people in the entire zoo! By the time we got out of the zoo, we almost were the only people left!!
We didn't actually see a ton of animals, rather spent the majority of our time in the "kid zone" and at the sea lion exhibit! They have the most amazing kid area where the kids can "pretend" all sorts of things, and if you know my kids, this is PERFECT for them!! Every time we go to the zoo I say I wish I could turn my whole back yard into the "kid zone" from the zoo, it is amazing!! We spent 3 hrs in this part of the zoo!!
You will notice in the pics, that the kids can play in a sand and rock kitchen, pretend to be zoo keepers and veterinarians, build a fort using sticks and other things, paint with water and chalk on a huge wall, go through a maze and balance on some huge logs! There is also a puppet show area where me and my mom got to see a wonderful show!!
The rest of the weekend we just spent at home enjoying being together, we just kinda hung out. The kids were able to play with some friends in the back yard which is always a great weekend in the eyes of the Centers children!

We enjoy seeing all the cute pictures and reading the fun daily happenings. Congratulations to John on his new job! Katelyn's poems are great! Our kids told us some great stories from Cousin's Campout that gave us some good laughs! So glad all of you could get together! It's good to know all of you are happy and well!
