We have been wanting to camp all summer, so this past weekend before school started we took the kids to a camp ground on Lake Linear that is about 5 minutes from our house. It was GREAT!!
We had a site right on the lake so we were able to hear the boats and waves from the boats all night...LOVED IT! We were able to walk right into the water from our site too!!
We decide to bring Abby out during the day and take her home at night because she roams so much at night from place to place in the house, we didn't think she would settle down very good in the tent at night.
This was her first time actually being able to run wild in the water and swim and she LOVED it! She almost swam all the way to the island with John and the kids, I called her back though...
We did realize that we think that this was our first camping trip as a family without all the cousins!! How crazy is that??!!
It was a really great way to spend the last weekend before school started!!
